Bears top Jets 6-4 for MCCAA road win
JACKSON, Mich. - The Mott Community College baseball team picked up a second straight MCCAA win, topping Jackson College 6-4 on the road on Saturday.
The Bears scored three runs in the sixth to move in front by two and held the Jets off the board the rest of the way to move to 9-8 overall and 3-2 in the MCCAA this season.

Brennen Vechazone provided the big hit in the game with a home run to lead the Bear offense. He finished with two hits, two runs scored, two RBIs, and a walk.

Luke Ellis added two hits, including a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Charles Green recorded two hits, a run scored, an RBI, a sacrifice, and a walk for Mott.

Max Charlton added a double.

Brandon Smith got the start on the mound, earning the win with five innings pitched, allowing four unearned runs on two hits and four walks, while striking out two.

Cameron Schuster finished the game, tossing four scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, while striking out four, and earning his first save of the season.
