Soccer Wrap Up: Tops Move to 8-0 on the Season, Among Others Receiving Votes, National Leaders

The Triceratops Soccer team, after winning only one game last season, has now moved to 8-0 on the season winning three contests last week.

The Tops defeated Lakeland, Jamestown and Jackson in a big week of soccer.

 

Lakeland W 2-1

In a much closer game than the first one, Tri-C prevailed sweeping their rivals for the season.  Aldair Cardenas-Villamizar and Ethan Losneck had the goals for the Tops while Eamon DeLeon was solid in goal once again.

 

Jamestown W 4-1

Eamon DeLeon was tough in the goal again and Aldair Cardenas-Villamizar had a hat trick and Darious Crawford chipped in a goal too.

 

Jackson W 3-0

Deleon had his 4th shutout of the season and Ahmad Nawshad had two goals for the Tops.  Aldair Cardenas-Villamizar continues his torrid week with a goal and an assist.

 

The Tops have another big week as they will host OCCAC foe, Terra State on Wednesday setting up a huge matchup on Saturday with #12 Grand Rapids CC on the road.

 

Aldair Cardenas-Villamizar is currently tied for 4th in NJCAA Division II in total points (25) and goals scored (10).

Darious Crawford is tied for 13th in total points and tied for 6th in goals scored.

Ahmad Nawshad is 28th in total points.

Eamon DeLeon is 29th with a .71 Goal Allowed Average.
