Orlando, Fl- After an impressive 2022 run that saw the Erie Community College baseball team win 18 straight games and finish the season ranked 2nd in the region, the 2023 season has gotten off to a rocky start. The team traveled to FLorida last week to kick off the spring campaign and have dropped six out of their first eight games. Leading the offense for the Kats is freshman Colby Wilson with 11 hits over 24 at-bats and a .458 average.
Dylan Morehouse has led the team on mound, pitching 12 innings while allowing eight runs on seven hits with a 3.0 ERA.
The team will complete the Florida portion of their trip on Thursday before heading to Baltimore for a six game stretch.
