Four home runs pace Mott to 12-9 win at Jackson
JACKSON, Mich. - The Mott Community College baseball team earned its first MCCAA Eastern Conference win of the season, outlasting Jackson College on Wednesday in Jackson, Mich.
After the Jets took a 4-1 lead after one, the Bears scored seven unanswered to take control with the long ball. Mott led off Jackson to take the single 9-inning game 12-9 to improve to 6-9 overall and 1-1 in the MCCAA.

Nathan McDonald finished with four hits, two home runs, four runs scored, two RBIs, and two steals.

Reigning MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Week Luke Trotter added three hits, a home run, four RBIs, and a run scored.

Ethan Wills added two hits, including a home run. He finished with two RBIs and a steal.

Ryan Metz, Benjamin Korson, Bryce Neitzel, and John LaVallier each added two hits as the Bears finished with 17 hits.

The Bears did not commit an error in the field.
- Tucker Webb got the win in relief of starter Jack Legree. Webb (2-1) went 2.1 innings, allowing two runs on two hits, walking four and striking out three.

Dillon Kielian pitched 3.2 innings of relief, allowing one run on four hits, walking one and striking out two.

Darion Amico (1) got the save with a scoreless inning, allowing one hit, walking one and striking out one.
