August 31, 2018 -- The Lorain County Community College volleyball team lost a pair of matches today to D-II opponents at the Owens Community College Tournament in Perrysburg, OH.
The Lady Commodores fell to Jackson CC, 25-16, 25-13, 26-24, in the team's first match of the day.
LCCC was later defeated by Lansing CC in a very tight match, 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.
Sophomore defensive specialist Angela Dunn (Fairview Park/Fairview) was busy with 33 digs in the two matches, including 18 against Lansing CC. Freshman Kara Sullinger (North Ridgeville/North Ridgeville) collected 13 kills in the two losses to pace the offensive attack.
