After a few challenging offensive outings, Coach Devan challenged his top players to step up and lead the team. Ahmad Nawshad accepted that challenge, playing aggressively throughout the contest and providing the spark the Tops had been missing. He scored two outstanding goals, showcasing his talent.
Nawshad set the stage for success, but he received plenty of support from teammates Clayton Kremer and Stefam Trmcic, both of whom answered Coach Anderson's call for increased offensive effort. The Tops responded by scoring two goals in each half.
Kremer was sensational not only for his scoring but also for his playmaking, ensuring the Jets were fully aware of his presence on the field. Giovanni Anderson and Ali Yousafzai each provided assists on a goal, contributing to the team's overall performance.
With this win, Coach Anderson has the Tops sitting atop the conference with a two-game lead, boasting a record of 5-5-1 (4-1-1). "There's still more work to do," says Anderson.
The Tops will return to the field on Saturday, October 12, to face Muskegon.
