FLINT, Mich. - The Mott Community College baseball team played its final home doubleheader of the regular season against Jackson College on Saturday in Flint.
The Bears scored eight runs in the second inning of game one and cruised to a 10-1 victory. The Jets answered in the finale with a 10-1 win of their own to split the doubleheader. The results move Mott to 26-18 overall and 14-11 in the MCCAA this season.
Game One Highlights:

William Case (5-1) went all seven innings in the win. He allowed one run on four hits, no walks and struck out four.

Gavin Balius had two hits, including a triple, two runs, and two RBIs.

Brennen Vechazone added two hits, a triple, a runs scored and two RBIs.

Quinn Schultz recorded two hits, two runs, one RBI, and a stolen base.
Game Two Highlights:

Balius and Luke Ellis each recorded a hit for the Bears.

Schultz scored the lone Mott run.

Benjamin Korson tossed 2.1 hitless innings in relief, while Andrew Van Akin pitched one hitless inning.
