Riedel named NJCAA Division II All-America First Team

Jackson, MI - Jets baseball standout sophomore Jeffrey Riedel recently named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-America First Team.

Riedel led Jackson College in nearly every offensive category, including at-bats (137), runs scored (69), hits (67), doubles (21), triples (12), runs batted in (61), stolen bases (48 in 52 attempts), batting average (.489), on-base percentage (.571) and slugging percentage (.883).

His efforts helped the Jets finish 37-14 and win the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) title. Riedel's performance also helped him bring home plenty of MCCAA hardware, as he was named First Team All-MCCAA and earned Player of the Year honors.
