Jackson College Jets men's basketball has signed their first player to the 2014-15 team.

            Men's coach Carl Thomas signed Gary Junior Cooper last week, a 6-foot 9-inch, 230-pound power forward who is a 2011 graduate of Monroe High School. Cooper is a big-bodied post player and a good finisher around the basket, Thomas said, who can also knock down shots from the perimeter.
