Jets basketball players recognized with individual honors
Honorees for the 2014-15 basketball season have been announced by the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference.
Jackson College Jets student-athletes receiving honors from the women's basketball team include:
- Chelsy Hall, All-Region, All-MCCAA, First Team All Conference; All-Freshman Team. Hall is a freshman goal/forward and a graduate of Jackson High.
- Teqwa'zha Terry, Third Team All-Conference. Terry is a freshman goal/forward, and a graduate of Avondale High in Pontiac.
- Paige Niciporek, Honorable Mention All-Conference. Niciporek is a freshman goal/forward and graduate of Northwest High.
Women's basketball finished the season with a 6-10 conference record and an 8-19 overall record.
Jets student-athletes receiving honors from the men's basketball team include:
- Ben Kesterson, Second Team All-Conference. Kesterson is a sophomore guard and graduate of Hanover-Horton High.
- Matt Bullinger, Honorable Mention All-Conference. Bullinger is a freshman forward and graduate of Lumen Christi High.
Men's basketball finished the season with a 4-12 conference record and a 10-19 overall record.
