Bowling teams celebrated a big day Friday at the Glen Oaks CC Invitational. Both teams took first place, sealing Western Conference championship titles. Both teams have won the Western Conference for the past three years.

For the men, Brandon Teddy had a big day, tying the school record with a near-perfect 299 game, then backing it up with a 279 game and surpassing his own series record of 762 with an 803! The men shot a 1,156 game and 3,345 series, both school records. The men had four in the top 10: 1st place, Brandon Teddy at 803; 5th, Bradlee Ramsey with 645; 7^th, Lane Kellogg with 624; and 10^th, Parker Horvath with 610.

The women's first place finish included 3 Jets in the top 10, with Alexis Beach taking 1st with high series at 639, high game at 255. Second was Kathryn McArthur at 633 and in 7th-place, Taylor Mosher, 533.

Both teams will play at the MCCAA Bowling Championships Friday, Feb. 10, in Livonia.
