The Jackson College Jets men's soccer team looks forward to the new season with hopes for post-season play!

Coach Adam Wright is in his second year coaching the Jets, who finished last year fourth place in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association with a 2-9 record. The team's goal is to finish above .500 and reach post season.

The team lost three key players, but welcome three key newcomers – Jayson Janofski, midfielder from Seminole, Fla., Ethan Zuke, midfielder and Western High graduate, and Aaron Kennedy, defender and transfer from Adrian College. Key returning players include Abdisa Kabeto, midfielder from Ypsilanti; Ian Maynard, defender and graduate of Western H.S.; Connor Poliquin, forward from Attleboro, Mass.; Jalyn Beecham, defender from Ypsilanti; and Kevin Lawson, forward from Ypsilanti.

"We are a very youthful, talented and excited bunch," Wright said. "This infectious confidence the boys have, mixed with their 'coachability' and desire to learn our playing philosophy, will serve us well going forward. There's no ceiling for us!"
