Jets cross country runners see strong start

The Jackson College Jets cross country team is off and running for a strong start to the 2017 season! 

This past Friday, Sept. 8, the Jackson Jets hosted the NJCAA cross country meet. The men's team placed second overall and the first two finishers, Jack Dulworth and Clinton Too, were from Jackson College. The first place overall finishers, Sarah Hanson and Madison Dunlap, were from the Jackson College's women's team. Overall it was a very successful day for the JC cross country team. This upcoming Friday the team will be running at the Spartan Invitational in Lansing, Mich.

Jack Dulworth (sophomore from Jackson): 29:06, 1st place
Clinton Too (freshman from Lansing): 29:56, 2nd Place
Kelvin Kellk (sophomore from Morenci): 32:01, 6th place
Luke Hargis (freshman from White Lake): 39:38, 11th place
Josey Casto (freshman from Concord): 44:36, 15th place

 

Women's 5000 meters

Sarah Hanson (freshman from Vandercook Lake): 22:13, 1st place
Madison Dunlap (freshman from Napoleon): 24:23, 5th place.
