- "It was great to get a couple more wins tonight! Our goal this year is to make a statement in the conference. We will face a tougher opponent on Thursday but have been preparing for their speed on the bases and short game."
- "Both Mikala and Melanie threw well tonight. It's great for them to come is as freshmen and pitch like seasoned players. We have 3 very different pitchers on staff this year and plan to utilize them to keep teams off balance. All 3 pitchers also play positions in the infield and bat in the line-up."
