Jeff Hankins is entering his second season (2014-15) as the head women's softball coach at Jackson College.

Hankins has over 30 years of coaching experience working with both high school and college programs. His high school record is 388-196, and he has held a variety of assistant coaching positions at the college level, including Liberty University (NCAA Division 1 baseball), Hillsdale College (NCAA Division 2 baseball), Albion College (NCAA Division 3 softball), Point Loma College (NAIA NCCAA baseball), and Roberts Wesleyan College (NAIA NCCAA basketball).

Hankins got his start 29 years ago as a baseball coach at what was then Jackson Baptist High School. His last high school experience was at South Lyon Schools, where his team had back to back conference championships and an average of 30 wins per season in their conference, the Kensington Lakes Athletic Association. His high school teams have won 10 conference championships over the years.

“I am very excited for this opportunity to be the head coach at Jackson College and look forward to all the great things we can do here with softball the future of the Lady Jets,” Hankins said. “This is my dream job and I think Jackson College for the chance to build champions here.
