Kennedi Showerman signs with JC women's basketball

Women's coach Courtney Ivan signed Vandercook Lake High School 2014 graduate Kennedi Showerman to the 2014-15 team. Showerman, a 6-foot center, is the first signee of the year for the women's team. The former Jayhawk was an All-Conference, All-State, and Second Team All-State honoree. "Kennedi will bring a toughness and grit to the court," Ivan said. "I'm very excited to have such a decorated athlete in my program. She will do great things as a Jet!"
