Heather Brown new Head Women's Basketball Coach

 

Jackson, MI - Director of Athletics Heather Bateman recently announced Heather Brown as the new head coach of the Jackson College women's basketball program.

"We are very pleased that Heather Brown will be leading our women's basketball program," said Bateman. "During her first year as an assistant coach, Heather displayed a clear vision of the future and demonstrated the enthusiasm that will be vital for the continued advancement of women's basketball at Jackson College."

Heather has over 10 years of coaching experience coaching both girls and boys teams.  She has volunteered and organized youth programs for basketball and baseball/softball programs.

"I am looking forward to making Jackson College a great place for women to start their education and helping them achieve their basketball goals," remarked Heather Brown.  "Recruiting local talent as well as other areas is her goal to bring in quality players."

Heather is a graduate of Jackson College in Applied Science for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Heather lives with her husband Shawn and has two boys, Cody and Colten.
