Brooklyn, MI – Chelsea Palmer, a 2016 graduate from Columbia Central High School recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association Letter of Intent to women's basketball at Jackson College.

Palmer, a 6'0" center for the Eagles, earned first team All-Conference, was named to the Michigan All-State Team and Dream Team.

"Chelsea is a strong athlete that has huge potential under the basket," remarked head coach Heather Brown. "Her size and athleticism will be a huge asset to our team.  I see big success in her future."

When asked why she chose Jackson, Palmer responded, "I chose Jackson College because I felt comfortable right from the beginning and fell in love with the campus.  JC has my area of study and it is close to home."
