Congratulations Lady Jets!
Congratulations to the Jackson College Jets women's basketball team who captured the Great Lakes District C Women's Basketball Championship and will head to the NJCAA DII National Championship! The Jets topped Lansing CC, 64-56, to win the title and punch their ticket to the Nationals, the first time since 1978!
In the Great Lakes District final match-up, Michelle McGee scored 24 points to lead JC. Trinity Brown finished with 12 points and Maya Pierce added 10 points for Jackson College (25-4). The win avenges a loss earlier in the season to Lansing College. Michelle McGee was named tournament MVP; Kaylona Butler, Zoandria Bamm and McGee were named to the All-Tournament Team. Coach Heather Brown was named Great Lakes District C Coach of the Year!

The Jets will face Lake Land College at 3 p.m. CT Monday, March 18 (4 p.m. ET) in the national tournament, being held in Joplin, Mo.
