The Jets volleyball team picked up a conference win Thursday, Oct. 12 over Lansing Community College, 3-2.

The Jets were down in the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-15, but came back to take the third set 23-25. They finished the game with 24-26 in the fourth set, and 11-15 in the fifth, for the win. Sidney Ing of Onsted came on strong for the Jets, with 12 kills and 26 digs. Teammates Allison Hofflander of Adrian had 8 kills and 16 digs, and Shania Johnson of Saginaw had 6 kills and 26 digs.

The Jets are currently 2-12 on the MCCAA Western Conference, 5-20 overall. They take on Glen Oaks Community College at home in Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
