Jets Fall on Sophomore Night

St. Clair CCC 3, Jackson College 1: The Jets won the first set, but fell in the next three sets at home Wednesday night. Kate Gorney finished with nine kills and 10 digs, Kenadee Tompkins distributed 24 assists, and Allie Jarchow recorded seven blocks at the net for Jackson College. Jaden Bates Contributed 11 digs, Brynn Harmon tallied four kills, and Alivia Smith let the Jets with 14 digs. JC celebrated sophomore night Wednesday honoring, from left, Gorney, Harmon, and Tompkins – all three local players from Onsted,  Jonesville, and Columbia Central high schools respectively. Jackson College is now 11-6 overall, 5-5 in the MCCAA. The Jets will travel to Olivet College tonight for a tri-meet.
